Spinal decompression is a mechanical, noninvasive technique performed for relieving back or neck ache, radiating leg or arm pains. During this procedure, the spine is gently stretched to reduce the pressure on the discs. When the pressure is relieved, the bulging and herniated discs retract into place, alleviating the pressure off of the spinal nerves and thus relieving pain.
